For the hearing-impaired who read lips, this is a savior in a world face masks.

Mission Hospital physical therapist, Susan Adams, is hearing impaired and reads lips to communicate with coworkers and patients. Normal face coverings hindered her ability to work. Her manager, Michelle Darrow, surprised her with handmade clear face mask for her and her staff to enable Susan to continue to work to the best of her abilities.

In August, the FDA approved the first full transparent surgical mask by TheClearMask. A team of John Hopkins University graduate students and alumni developed this more humane and clearer communication mask for all.
