As certain industries reopen, tools could be implemented to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spread. Man’s best friend may be a possible solution.

Typically our K9 hero’s are trained to detect drugs, weapons or other contraband. Specialized dogs may also detect infections and disease, including cancer, diabetes and Parkinson’s disease. London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Durham University, and Medical Detection Dogs have shown that trained dogs are able to detect the scent of viruses like malaria…and COVID-19. Trained dogs may be able to sniff up to 250 people per hour, which could be useful in high common areas such as airports and event spaces.
