Are you one of those people who found themselves moving less in the pandemic? Show yourself some compassion…and then ramp back up in 2021. Here’s how.

Walking can be great for both physical and mental health – even 20 minutes a day can make a difference. I don’t know about you, but after falling off the exercise wagon in the last half of 2020, I’m ready to get back in my groove for 2021. I’m feeling particularly motivated knowing that there’s an end in site with the pandemic on the horizon!

While January is almost over, I’m starting this plan February 1st, following this same schedule. You start with walking, and then begin to add strength training at the end of the 2nd week. One thing I particularly like about this plan is that it focuses on mental health as well as physical health – research shows the two often go hand-in-hand. The mental health challenge associated with this program gives you focus ideas help strengthen your well-being while you’re strengthening your physical being.
